Jim is the programer and host of the Astreaux World streams. He interfaces directly with featured artists and media promotions. Jim has been involved with music production since the late 1970s, including relationships with FM radio as both an announcer and a creator of signature theme music for affiliate programing. He's owned a production studio and sound contracting company and been the senior production engineer for large scale corporate and government events. In the late 1980’s Jim wrote and produced original underscores for clients such as North American Philips, Martin Marietta, TVA, and Coca-Cola. Jim enjoys organic gardening, hiking the Great Smoky Mountains, and contributing resources and time to his local Adult Continuing Education Program when not involved with production activities.
