t was a great honor to have our work on Pinterest recognized last year by Arizona Foothills in the ‘Best of our Valley‘ awards. So we are doubly thrilled to have won it again this year!
Pinterest is a huge part of our social media work here at Deep Space Marketing. Whether we are pinning Social Media tips or the best free plugins for WordPress websites, we know that our followers want useful and engaging content that will actually help their business. But of course Pinterest isn’t all business all the time! When we won in 2013 our most popular non-business board was dedicated to the AMC show Mad Men. This year we gained a significant number of new followers by pinning quotes, interviews and fan art dedicated to the hit AMC TV show Breaking Bad (we even wrote a blog post on the shows social media success!).
Pinterest continues to grow at a rapid pace. 2013 saw the introduction of ’Place Pins’, enabling users to map out the locations of all the items they share on their pinboards. Whether you’re pinning at a desktop or on a tablet or smartphone, this unique way of sharing images, video and web content has firmly established itself as one of the top 5 social media platforms in the US and beyond.
