I’m a native of North Carolina and have lived here all of my life. I started out working in textiles when I was 16 years old. After working in the textile industry for 9 years I felt like I needed a change so I tried other opportunities and ended up in sales. I sold cell phones and was very successful. My last sales job was through our local cable company where I went door to door. I found out real quick that companies that hire sales reps want you to treat people like a number and I couldn’t do that because people are not numbers and I don’t like be treated like a number either.
