ed is our President and Chief Data Scientist. Before forming MindEcology in 2009, Jed started and ran the Internet marketing firm JCJ Interactive, Inc. Prior to that, Jed worked at Dell, Inc. in Japan conducting customer analytics and managing online enterprise products sales and marketing. Jed has worked in the field of marketing for 18 years and possesses advanced knowledge in customer segmentation, data mining, and analytical customer profiling. He has logged over 15,000 hours using Microsoft Excel. Jed holds a Ph.D. in organizational systems inquiry from Saybrook University, an MBA in marketing from UC Irvine, and a B.A. in Japanese studies from UCLA. Jed lives with his wife, Amanda, and their three kids in the music capital of the world – and all around cool place to be – Austin, Texas.
