Oxbow Labs founder Winn Jewett is a web architect with a passion for problem solving and user experience. Winn enjoys spending time at work crafting solutions to tricky problems.
Winn’s career began in New York City helping build MarthaStewart.com and iVillage.com. At that time, building a website was a large undertaking that involved art departments, programmers, quality assurance teams, content managers, more programmers to implement content, editors to double-check the programmers’ work. Winn believed that this process could be streamlined dramatically.
Oxbow Labs was founded out of the belief that the client should be able to manage his or her website independently, without teams of programmers. Winn has a BA in physics from Colorado College. Winn is passionate about community involvement and donates website services to local nonprofits.
