As the Chief Operating Officer, Sara Jo keeps Rubin Communications Group in sync each day and ensures that it continues to be the go-to firm for sound advice, creative promotional concepts and positive media coverage. Sara Jo’s fingers and energy are in the middle of almost everything that happens at RCG from developing vendor relationships to overseeing financial affairs, and from assuring quality control to helping key clients meet their promotional objectives. She serves on the boards of Temple Israel Synagogue in Norfolk, The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, and the Women’s Cabinet of the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater while also being an active member of the Central Business District Association. Sara Jo is a native of Norfolk and a graduate of Virginia Tech, while Joel and their children chose to be Wahoos at the University of Virginia.
