Nick started TMD because he recognized that small to mid-sized businesses would benefit from the expertise of an agency that understands their needs, with access to a full range of marketing design services without adding staff and overhead to their balance sheets. Before TMD, Nick held positions with The American Red Cross in New York City, ITT World Communications in New York City, National Community Bank (Bank of New York), Bank of Salinas (Community Bank), Tanimura & Antle, Naturipe Berry Growers, and D’Arrigo Brothers of California. Throughout his professional career, he has managed branding, marketing, program development, product development, research, strategic planning, and advertising. His experience spans nonprofit, technology, banking, and agriculture. Nick received his Master’s degree from Loyola University in September 2006, graduated from California State University at Fresno in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Marketing and participated in the Advanced Management Program at CSU, Fresno. He graduated from Leadership Salinas Valley, the Cornell University Agricultural Leadership Program, and the highly acclaimed California Agricultural Leadership Program. He continues to seek out educational opportunities by attending seminars, workshops, and other development opportunities to stay fresh and on the cutting edge in his profession. Nick is a four-time recipient of the produce industry’s Marketing Excellence Award and the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year Award and Business of the Year Award.
